With the exception of stories which already have been published (e.g., Hair), the posts that appear on this blog are only excerpts. Even though my stories are copyrighted, excerpts are the best way to protect my creative product. As such, excerpts may read as angry rants or melancholy reflections without a resolution or an ending. They are meant to be provocative and to stimulate debate and conversation around the issues of identity and culture.
Still, it is my hope that readers find the excerpts compelling, that they recognize themselves in my characters and that they are moved to participate in this current dynamic exchange on multiculturalism and relationships.
